Calilio Pte. Ltd. ("Calilio", "we", "us", "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on calilio.com and in the Calilio web application. This policy names the cookies we set, says who sets them, what each one does and how long it lasts, and explains how to accept or refuse each category. Cookies that are not strictly necessary are set only after you agree, and you can change your mind at any time using the Cookie settings link in our footer.
Read this policy together with our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal data generally.

2. What this policy covers
This policy covers the Calilio public website at calilio.com, our help centre at support.calilio.com, and the Calilio web application at app.calilio.com.
Different parts of Calilio are tracked differently, and the difference matters to you.
- Our public website at calilio.com uses analytics and advertising cookies from providers such as Google, Meta, Microsoft and LinkedIn. This is how we measure our marketing.
- Our sign-in and sign-up pages also carry those marketing tags, because we need to know which adverts and campaigns lead to a new account. If you refuse advertising cookies, they are not set here either.
- Inside the Calilio dashboard, once you are signed in, we use only what the product needs: cookies that keep you signed in, remember your language, identify your device, protect the sign-in form, and run billing and support chat. We do not use the content of your calls, messages, recordings, transcripts or contacts for advertising, and we do not send that content to any advertising provider.
- Our help centre at support.calilio.com sets only the support chat cookie. There are no analytics or advertising cookies on it at all.
This policy does not cover the Calilio iOS app, Android app or browser extension. Those apps do not use browser cookies. What they collect is described in our Privacy Policy and in the app store listings. Cookies set by other companies on their own websites are not covered here, even if you reached that website from a Calilio link.
3. What are cookies and similar technologies?
A cookie is a small text file that a website asks your browser to store on your device. When you return, the website can read that file and recognise your browser. A cookie holds a short string of characters, usually a randomly generated identifier.
Cookies cannot run programs and cannot carry viruses. We never store your password in a cookie. A cookie tied to your Calilio session holds only a random identifier that lets our servers recognise the session.
We also use technologies that work in a similar way, and this policy covers all of them:
- Local storage and session storage. Space inside your browser where a site can keep small amounts of data, such as a language preference. Unlike cookies, this data is not sent to a server with every request.
- Pixels, tags and web beacons. A tiny, usually invisible image or piece of code placed on a page or in an email. It records that the page was opened or the email was viewed.
- Session replay and heatmaps. Software that records how visitors move through a page, including mouse movement, scrolling and clicks, so we can find broken layouts and confusing steps. We use Microsoft Clarity for this on our public website only. It is not used inside the signed-in Calilio application.
- Software development kits (SDKs). Code inside a mobile app that performs a job similar to a cookie on a website.
4. Who sets cookies, and how long do they last?
First-party cookies are set by Calilio under the calilio.com domain and can be read only by us. Third-party cookies are set by other companies whose services appear on our pages, such as advertising and analytics providers. Those companies can read their own cookies across other websites that use the same service, which lets them build a picture of browsing across sites. We do not control what they do with that data. Their own privacy policies apply, and section 8 names each provider with a link.
Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser. Persistent cookies stay on your device for the period shown in section 7, unless you delete them sooner.
5. Why does Calilio use cookies?
We use cookies and similar technologies to:
- keep you signed in and move you securely between pages of the Calilio application;
- remember choices you have made, such as language and interface settings;
- protect the service against fraud, abuse and automated attacks;
- understand how the website is used, so we can find and fix problems;
- measure whether our marketing reaches the right people;
- credit a partner or affiliate when they refer a customer to us; and
- with your consent, show you Calilio advertising on other websites and measure how it performs.
Some information obtained through cookies, such as an online identifier or an IP address, is personal data under data protection law. We treat it as personal data and handle it as described in our Privacy Policy.
6. What categories of cookies does Calilio use?
These are required for the website and the application to work, so they are set without asking and cannot be switched off in our banner. They cover three jobs:
- Core. Managing your signed-in session and moving you between pages of the application.
- Security. Protecting forms and requests against forgery, and defending against automated abuse.
- Necessary settings. Remembering the cookie choices you made, so we do not ask you on every page, and remembering the interface language you are signed in with.
You can still block these in your browser, but signing in to Calilio will then not work.
These remember choices that make the site behave the way you expect: your language, your time zone, your dial pad and notification preferences, and accessibility settings such as text size. Our live chat widget also uses them so a conversation is not lost when you move to another page. If you refuse them, the site still works but forgets your preferences.
These tell us how visitors use the website: which pages are visited, how long people stay, where errors occur and which links are clicked. This category also includes session replay and heatmap recording, described in section 3, which captures mouse movement, scrolling and clicks on our public website. Reports are aggregated, but the underlying identifiers can relate to an individual device, so we ask for your consent before setting them.
These are set by us and by our advertising partners to show you Calilio adverts on other websites, to avoid repeating the same advert, and to measure whether an advert led to a sign-up. They can build a picture of your interests across different websites. We set them only with your consent, and you can withdraw that consent at any time.
7. Which cookies does Calilio set?
The lists below were verified by inspecting calilio.com in a browser with no prior cookies on 10 September 2026. Cookie names and durations change as providers update their products and as we change our marketing tools.
We review this list at least once every three months, and again whenever we add, remove or reconfigure a tracking tool. If we add a new provider or a new purpose, we update this page and ask for your consent again before the change takes effect, rather than relying on consent you gave for something else.

| crisp-client/socket/… | Crisp | Keeps the support chat connection open | Functional | 2 days |
Our sign-in and sign-up pages additionally carry the same analytics and advertising cookies listed in section 7.1, so that we can tell which campaigns lead to a new account. They also load Google reCAPTCHA and hCaptcha, which protect the forms against automated abuse, and Chargebee, which runs our billing. Those three are strictly necessary.
The signed-in dashboard also sets session and security cookies that vary by environment. Because they exist only inside an authenticated account, they are not listed individually here. Our engineering team maintains the current list, and we will provide it on request to privacy@calilio.com.
7.3 Help centre (support.calilio.com)
Our help centre sets one cookie only, crisp-client/session, which keeps your support chat conversation attached to you. There are no analytics or advertising cookies on the help centre.
7.4 Partner and affiliate referrals
If you arrive at calilio.com through a Calilio partner or affiliate link, our partner platform sets cookies so that the partner is credited if you later sign up. These are set only on referred visits, not on ordinary visits.
| Cookie | Set by | What it does | Category | Lasts |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| _ps_partner_key_…, _ps_xid_… | PartnerStack | Records which partner referred you and the referral click | Advertising | 90 days |

9. What other tracking technologies are used?
- Browser storage. Our website stores small amounts of data in your browser's local storage, including Mixpanel analytics identifiers, a saved Google click identifier used for advertising measurement, a LinkedIn advertising identifier and Crisp chat state. This data is controlled by the same categories and the same consent choices as cookies.
- Email pixels. Marketing emails we send may contain a small invisible image that tells us whether the email was opened and whether a link was clicked. You can stop this by turning off image loading in your email program, or by unsubscribing using the link in any marketing email.
- Bot protection on our forms. Our sign-in, sign-up and contact forms are protected by Google reCAPTCHA and hCaptcha. To tell a person from an automated script, these services receive information such as your IP address, your browser cookies for that service, your device and operating system, your mouse movement and keyboard activity on the form, and the time between your actions. This runs whatever your cookie choices are, because without it the forms can be attacked.
- Server logs. Our servers record technical information such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested. This happens whatever your cookie choices are, because it is needed to deliver and secure the service.
10. How can you control cookies?
Our cookie banner
When you first visit calilio.com you will see a cookie banner. You can accept all cookies, reject all non-essential cookies, or choose which categories to allow. Rejecting non-essential cookies does not stop you using the website or signing in, and it does not reduce the features available on your plan.
Changing or withdrawing your consent
Select Cookie settings in the footer of any page on calilio.com to reopen the banner and change your choices. Refusing is always as easy as accepting: the same screen, the same number of clicks. Withdrawing consent stops the relevant cookies being set from that point onwards. Cookies already stored are not removed automatically, so you may also want to clear them in your browser.
We remember your choice, whether you accepted or refused, for 6 months. After that we ask once more, so that a decision you made long ago is not treated as permanent.
Your choices are stored per browser and per device. If you use Calilio on a laptop and a phone, or in two different browsers, you need to set your choices in each one. Clearing your cookies also clears the record of your choice, so we will ask again.
Browser settings
Every major browser lets you see stored cookies, delete them, and block cookies from some or all websites. The settings are usually under Privacy and Security:
- Google Chrome: Settings, then Privacy and security, then Third-party cookies
- Safari: Settings, then Privacy
- Microsoft Edge: Settings, then Cookies and site permissions
- Mozilla Firefox: Settings, then Privacy and Security
Blocking all cookies, including strictly necessary ones, will prevent parts of the Calilio application from working, including signing in.

Mobile devices
The Calilio mobile apps do not use browser cookies. On your phone you can limit advertising tracking in the device settings: on iOS under Privacy and Security, then Tracking; on Android under Settings, then Google, then Ads.
11. Global Privacy Control and US state privacy rights
Global Privacy Control (GPC) is a setting in some browsers and browser extensions that automatically tells every website you visit that you do not want your personal information sold or shared for advertising.
Calilio recognises the Global Privacy Control signal. Where the signal is detected and the law requires us to act on it, we do not set Analytics or Advertising cookies, and we treat it as an opt-out of the sale or sharing of personal information.
A signal applies to the browser and device that sends it, so switch the setting on in each browser you use. If you want the opt-out applied to your whole Calilio account rather than one browser, email privacy@calilio.com from the address on the account and we will record it against the account itself. We will confirm when it is done.
Several United States state privacy laws treat the use of advertising cookies as a "sale" or a "sharing" of personal information, or as "targeted advertising", even when no money changes hands. When you allow Advertising cookies on calilio.com, identifiers such as your device identifier and your IP address, together with information about how you interacted with our website and our adverts, are shared with advertising and analytics partners including Google, Meta, Microsoft and LinkedIn.
If you are a resident of a United States state with a comprehensive privacy law, you can opt out of this in three ways: turn off Advertising cookies in our Cookie settings, enable Global Privacy Control in your browser, or email privacy@calilio.com. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16 years of age.
12. Do Not Track
Some browsers can send a "Do Not Track" signal. There is still no agreed industry standard for how a website should respond to it, so calilio.com does not respond to Do Not Track signals. Use our cookie banner, your browser settings, or Global Privacy Control instead. Those we do act on.
13. What is the legal basis for using cookies?
Calilio Pte. Ltd. is registered in Singapore and serves customers worldwide, so more than one law applies depending on where you are.
- Strictly necessary cookies. Storing these does not need your consent, because they are essential to deliver the service you asked for. That exemption comes from the cookie rules themselves. Separately, for the personal data those cookies produce, we rely on our legitimate interests in operating and securing the service.
- Functional, analytics and advertising cookies. Storing these relies on your consent, given through our cookie banner and withdrawable at any time. We do not rely on legitimate interests to place them.
- Singapore. The Personal Data Protection Act 2012 governs our collection, use and disclosure of personal data. Where a cookie collects personal data, we obtain consent before it is used, and we use the data only for the purposes stated in this policy.
- United Kingdom and European Economic Area. The Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations in the UK, and national laws implementing the ePrivacy Directive in the EEA, require your consent before non-essential cookies are stored on your device. Strictly necessary cookies are exempt. The UK GDPR and the EU GDPR then govern the personal data those cookies produce, and set the standard for valid consent: a clear, affirmative choice, as easy to refuse as to accept, and withdrawable at any time.
- A note on analytics in the United Kingdom. UK law now exempts some purely statistical measurement from the consent requirement. We do not rely on that exemption, because our analytics providers also use the data for their own purposes, which takes it outside the exemption. We therefore ask for your consent before setting any analytics cookie.
- Quebec, Canada. Where a technology can identify, locate or profile you, we do not switch it on by default. You activate it, or you do not.
- United States. State privacy laws give residents of a growing number of states the right to opt out of targeted advertising and of the sale or sharing of personal information, and several require us to honour a universal opt-out signal such as Global Privacy Control. Section 11 explains how to exercise these rights.
14. Are cookie data transferred outside your country?
Yes. Several providers named in section 8 are based outside Singapore, the United Kingdom and the European Economic Area, mainly in the United States. Where cookie data is transferred out of the UK or the EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, or on the provider's certification under the EU-US and UK-US Data Privacy Framework. Our Privacy Policy explains our transfer arrangements in more detail.
15. What are your data protection rights?
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict how we use it, to receive it in a portable form, and to withdraw consent you have given. Our Privacy Policy explains these rights and how to use them. To make a request, email privacy@calilio.com.
16. How will you know if this policy changes?
We update this policy when the cookies we use change, when our service changes, or when the law changes. The "Last updated" date at the top always reflects the current version. If a change materially affects how we use cookies, we will ask for your consent again through the cookie banner before the change takes effect.

18. Frequently asked questions
Does Calilio need my permission to use cookies?
For strictly necessary cookies, no, because the service cannot run without them. For functional, analytics and advertising cookies, yes. We hold those back until you choose in the cookie banner, and you can change your choice at any time from Cookie settings in the footer.
Will refusing cookies limit my Calilio plan or features?
No. Refusing non-essential cookies does not restrict any feature, does not affect call quality, and does not change what your plan includes. You can still sign in and use every part of the product.
Does Calilio track my calls, recordings or contacts with advertising cookies?
No. Advertising and analytics cookies run on our public marketing website. Inside the signed-in Calilio application we use only the cookies needed to run the product, and we do not send call content, recordings, transcripts, messages or contact lists to any advertising provider.
How long do Calilio cookies last?
It depends on the cookie. Some are deleted when you close your browser. The longest we set are analytics and advertising cookies at up to 400 days. Section 7 gives the exact duration for each one.
Does Calilio sell my personal information?
We do not sell personal information for money. Some United States state laws treat the use of advertising cookies as a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. If you turn off Advertising cookies, or enable Global Privacy Control in your browser, we stop that activity for your browser.
Does Calilio honour Global Privacy Control?
Yes. Where the signal is detected and the law requires us to act on it, we do not set Analytics or Advertising cookies and we treat it as an opt-out of the sale or sharing of personal information.
Does Calilio honour Do Not Track?
No. There is no agreed standard for how websites should respond to Do Not Track, so we do not act on it. We do act on Global Privacy Control and on the choices you make in our cookie banner.
Do the Calilio mobile apps use cookies?
No. The iOS and Android apps do not use browser cookies. What those apps collect is described in our Privacy Policy and in the app store listings.
To change your cookie choices, use the Cookie settings link in the footer of any page on calilio.com. Questions go to privacy@calilio.com.
