Scheduled maintenance

Scheduled voice platform maintenance, 30 May 2026

Calilio Operations· Operations team 2 min read

We have scheduled voice platform maintenance for Friday 30 May 2026, 02:00 – 04:00 UTC. The maintenance touches the global voice routing layer and the regional edge nodes in North America and Europe.

What to expect

Most calls will complete uninterrupted. During the window we expect:

  • Brief 1–2 minute interruptions on long-running active calls as traffic shifts between edge nodes
  • Slightly elevated post-dial delay on new outbound calls (typically under 500 ms)
  • No impact to SMS, the dashboard, or the API

The window has been chosen to fall outside business hours in our highest-volume regions. We have notified customers with active 24/7 operations directly.

Why we are doing this

The maintenance applies a backbone routing update that improves international call quality, particularly to destinations in Asia-Pacific and Latin America. It also rolls out a new edge node in Frankfurt that will reduce post-dial delay for callers in continental Europe by an average of 80 ms.

What you should do

Nothing in advance. If your business runs critical voice traffic during the window, consider scheduling around it. We will post live updates to the system status page for the duration of the maintenance.

If you experience an issue that persists beyond the maintenance window, the support team is on call. We will publish a brief retrospective after the maintenance completes if anything notable occurred.
